Why I chose Central Michigan University as my college was because I wanted to be the first in my family to go to a university. It offered me many scholarships, but more importantly a home with the Leadership Institute.
My excitement stems from the ambition to seize the day. I am the first family member in my tree to go to CMU. What I want out of my 4 years from a university is a story of a lifetime that involves me graduating, meeting new people, expanding my resources, and showing the world what I am capable of.
